ICLEGEND MICRO develops high-performance chips for wireless technologies, including millimeter-wave sensing and mobile and satellite communications. Its R&D engineers, however, had never received systematic training in technical writing. The company wanted to use its own existing documents as the basis for establishing fundamental technical-writing rules and standards internally.
Solution
Sigma Technology designed a customized two-day training program. Complex concepts and rules were explained through practical, real-life examples, supported by hands-on exercises and group discussions to deepen understanding. Actual issues drawn from ICLEGEND MICRO’s own sample documentation served as the exercise material, letting participants work through real cases directly.
Results
Participants rated the training unanimously positively, with a satisfaction score of 94.6 points. The engineers gained essential knowledge and practical skills in technical writing, and the program was described as informative and engaging.
